What Is Kids Playing Camp?

Summer Sessions

It’s the kids day camp with the grown-up difference. What do we mean by that? For starters, adults, not high school kids, supervise your kids. They’re coaches, teachers, mothers, and college students. People who know how to motivate kids, and keep them focused. What’s more, Kids Playing Camp Inc., has a 1 to 6 ratio. That’s one adult for every six kids. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

Why? Because we want to make sure kids get the kind of one-on-one attention they need to evolve. It’s a smarter, safer way to do things.

Where does Kids Playing Camp take place?

Kids Playing Camp takes place at Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU).  Campers have access to state of the art facilities including two gymnasiums, racquetball courts, dance studios, classrooms, and acres of outdoor play space, including shady trees, tennis courts, baseball/softball diamonds and more.

Where do Kids Playing Campers come from?

Our campers are from over 19 different schools throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. They represent economic, racial, cultural diversity as well as private and public schools. The goal of Kids Playing Camp is to inform and educate campers on differences in a compassionate and informative way without lecturing. That is why our diversity of our staff, campers and families sets us apart…we are authentic to who we are and what we do.
