Welcome

Dear KPC Families:

Summer Camp Registration starts on Sunday, November 15th!

I am so excited that we will celebrate our 15th summer of providing summer fun and memories to children from Chicago and the surrounding communities. Each year over 250 families invest in our summer camp and I am forever grateful for your confidence, support and belief that our program is one of the best in the city.

This coming summer we are excited to improve and expand our programming to include:

– Adding an additional day of swimming (we swim everyday).

– Securing Guest Artists to come each week to offer their unique talents with the campers – comic book illustrators, jewelry designers, and game designers to name a few.

– Planning for THEME days that will be the BEST yet.

– Expanding our programming for campers entering 8th grade to take part in the Leadership in Training Program (L.I.T.) that will provide training and mentorship in CPR/First Aid, hands on conflict resolution skills and leadership training while participating in all field trips and camp activities.

And most importantly, we have many counselors that your children have developed a relationship with returning for the upcoming year. Whether it’s the counselors when your kids get out of the car singing and dancing to the staff member who sits one on one when the transition is new or the staff who plays and gets doused in water on a hot day, we will be there every step of the way to make Kids Playing Camp 2016 a memorable experience. We are committed to making sure our staff is diverse and that we represent what your kids see in their daily lives in their school and communities.

Please remember as you register you are signing up for the grade your child will be in the Fall of 2016.

Kathy
